BASIC HOUSING CONDITIONS:

 

1. Location – dependent on good public transport (at best close proximity to the underground, bus terminals), availability of commercial, service and medical facilities as well as surroundings;

 

2. Apartments – are the ownership of the Association ONE. Assistive services are provided. Stay period is not limited and is dependent on the decision of the residents.

 

3. Technical conditions of apartments:

 

- good access to the building from the outside, automatic door,

 

- size – one-room and two-room apartments with appropriate usable area (about 50 m2): allowing for moving the wheelchair: a wide corridor, a bathroom, a separate bedroom, space for a big wardrobe or a closet for clothes or hygienic materials, storage locker (technical place for rehabilitation and orthopedic equipment like a spare wheelchair with parts, a lift etc.) or a separate room, a typical ”CARRIAGE ROOM”, available in each block,

 

- adjustment of apartments – individually defined at the stage of planning, ensuring a possibility of assembling a ceiling lift (serving a function of a standing frame as well), automatically opened windows and door as well as other necessary solutions like lowered sockets, no thresholds at the entrance or at the balcony and others. The equipment includes solutions related to adjusting the apartments to the needs of the disabled: facilitations concerning window and door opening, bathroom (adjustable height of the washbasin, photocell controlled taps, adjustable heights of beds, special facilitations of the kitchen, guideways and lifts, call signal system, a complex lighting regulation system),

 

- the apartments will be equipped with the newest conveniences and devices thanks to the support of specialist firms operating on the Polish market,

 

- possibility of including the apartment into the system of monitored apartments, both inner network (calling neighbours for help) and calling for people (help) from the outside,

 

- the living area located in the common part of the closed corridor because of the possibility of unconstrained moving, of a quick mutual and assistive help and safety,

 

- furnishings of apartments apart from equipment facilitating normal functioning is fully dependent on the resident,

 

- food is an individual issue of the resident, common meetings, ceremonies and meals will be planned and organized at the request of the residents,

 

- the apartments will be equipped with the newest conveniences and devices thanks to the support of specialist firms operating on the Polish market.
